"Flying a Sign"by the Community CollabARTive
There's a new billboard at Jefferson and Gravois that is the result of many months of work for the community collabARTive. Led by volunteer artist, Ann Hartenbach, the collabARTive created a mural that depicts the transition from homelessness to independence. The project would not have been possible without the help and direction of longtime collabARTive artists Michele Ryker Owens, Louis Ingram and shelter director Tom Burnham. Special thanks go to billboard owners Andrew James and Noah Kirby who donated their time and treasure to the project. Congratulations to all who made this version of "flying a sign" a success!! The next time you find yourself driving near Jefferson and Gravois have a look!!
Tom Burnham, Shelter Director for Peter & Paul Community Services has a little fun "flying a sign" beneath the recently installed community collabARTive billboard at Jefferson and Gravois. Have a look next time you're in the neighborhood!! _______________________________________________________________________________________ Transitions & Connections:
