El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church

"The El Bethel M.B. Church located at 5401 Gilmore in north St. Louis registered to participate in the Peter and Paul Meal Program on the eighth of each month beginning in January of 2002. Tee Schaffer (group coordinator) was inspired by the efforts of Ascension Health who introduced her to the program and thought it only befitting to follow the Lord's example in caring for his creation. Many lessons have been learned in the areas of compassion, giving, assisting and communicating with others during our tenure in the program. This is a very rewarding ministry and we are grateful for each opportunity to serve our guests. You know your labor is not in vain when a group thanks you even after a poor tasting meal - now that's true appreciation. Ha!
