9:30 a.m.-1 mile walk for everyone

10:00 a.m. - refreshments

Race for Home is a 5K/10K Run and 1 mile walk benefiting the work of Peter & Paul Community Services, a non-profit agency providing housing and supportive services for those who are homeless, especially those who live with mental illness and HIV.

Race for Home is unique in that it is the only 5K, 10K run and 1 mile walk in the metropolitan area that takes place along the banks of the Mississippi river.

Runners and walkers enjoy an "up and back" VERY FLAT COURSE allowing for panoramic views of the city skyline, the beautiful Mississippi River and other interesting urban landscape along the way.  The start and finish line are adjacent to parking for easy access.

Participants race against the Mississippi current (5 mph), their own personal times and most importantly, the many stereotypes that surround the issue of homelessness.

Why not enjoy the beauty of the river and good company November 6, 2010 as Peter & Paul Community Services marks Homeless Awareness Month in St. Louis.

Can't make the date?
