Melanie Krog Daniels is the Founder and Director Emerita of Taproots School of the Arts, a 25,000 sq. ft. facility. I am a papermaker, printmaker and book artist. I studied at the Bellas Artes in Mexico; completed my BFA at Memphis College of Art and my Masters of Leadership in Social Artistry at the Graduate Theological Foundation, South Bend, Indiana.
I have been teaching the art of creative expression to children and adults for the last28 years. I am a Fellow of the first Community Artist Training Program "CAT"created by the Regional Arts Commission. Currently I am completing my certification as a Smart Coach through the SMARTWired program: teaching individuals how to discover their particular strengths and use their own perceptual thinking pattern to use and trust their own minds. My artwork is in private and corporate collections around the country.

Lois Ingrum

As the founder and owner of L. D. Ingrum Gallery & Studio Inc we produce commercial and Artistic photography. L. D. Ingrum Gallery & Studio has been located in the Central West End Neighborhood of St. Louis Missouri since 1991. As an educator of photography I’ve had the privilege of teaching hundreds of students, elementary through college.

Beside my commercial work I‘ve spent twenty five years adding to my personal portfolio of artistic work. I’ve always considered myself an artist first. The Urban League’s first Black Fine Art Show, Art Coop and University of Missouri-St Louis Art Shows have given me opportunity to showcase some of my work.

Ana Maria Hartenbach

I am a St. Louis artist. I have been a professional oil painter since 1995.

I started out painting portraits when I graduated from Kansas University majoring in Painting. Since that time, I have expanded my painting to include abstracts, landscapes, illustration and large-scale murals. My artwork can be found in many private and public collections across the country.

The majority of my works are commissioned oil paintings. Often my clients hire me to paint something that they have been envisioning for a long time. I consider my commissioned work to be a joint project with my clients. Inviting my clients to be part of the creative process, gives them a sense of ownership with the artwork before it’s even been created. In turn, I create a painting that I know my client will always enjoy as well as remember being a part of its creation.

I do not make a practice of advertising in newspapers or magazines. I have painted full time for nine years and depend solely on referrals from my clients.

It does not matter if I am working with a family, an interior designer or a large corporation, I make sure that everyone is completely satisfied with my work and my professionalism. I present each client with digital layouts of what their future artwork will look like as well as an agreement to its cost and due date. Not only do I create a beautiful work of art, I complete it in a timely manner and at the cost I promised.

I treasure my clients and the relationships I build within the St. Louis community. I love what I do and love being able to share it with others. Feel free to call me with any questions you may have about commissioning your own piece of art!
